How we Collect

The Fergusson Gallery houses the largest and most important collections of two people;
- The Scottish colourist artist John Duncan Fergusson(1874-1961), collection gifted by the J D Fergusson Art Foundation in 1990.
- Modern dance pioneer, choreographer and artist Margaret Morris (1891-1980), collection gifted by the International Association of Margaret Morris Movement in 2010.
We continue add to the collections by gift, bequest and purchase.
Our collections are too big for everything to be on display at the same time but we will be happy to show any item not on display.

This is reviewed and approved by Perth & Kinross Council every five years.
