A Discipline of the Mind: The Drawings of Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Wilhelmina Barns-Graham was one of the most significant British artists of the 20th century. Her primary practice of painting and printmaking was supported throughout her artistic career with drawing. PM&AG until 20 October 2012
Carpow Logboat The story of excavation, recovery and conservation of a 3,000 year old logboat will be on display in Perth Museum & Art Gallery PM&AG until January 2013
Four Seasons in One Day Scotland’s weather and climate are explored in an exhibition of fascinating images from the Museum’s extensive photographic collections together with contributions from members of the Perthshire Photographic Society. PM&AG until 29 September 2012
Artist Rooms - Robert Mapplethorpe Robert Mapplethorpe is one of the most provocative photographers of the 20th century. Renowned for his magnificent, large scale black and white photographs, he has inspired artistic debate and intrigued. Starts 10 November 2012. PM&AG until 27 April 2013
The Flowering of Still-Life Exhibition focusing on J D Fergusson's still-life paintings and closely observed drawings of flowers. Also featuring examples of still-life paintings by other artists that he inspired in Glasgow in the 1950s. FG until 28 September 2012
Creative Beginnings of Margaret Morris Margaret Morris spent her childhood on stage, before developing her own system of dance notation and movement at the age of 19, which she went on to teach for the next 70 years. FG until 16 March 2013

2pm-5pm Tea Dance at the Salutation Hotel -  big band tunes from That Swing Sensation and micro-classes by the Fly Right Dance Company, £3.00 includes refreshments

Watercolour Day Adult A day of watercolour tuition with local artist Claire Harkess.
