The Fergusson Gallery
What's the secret of the Watertower?
It's an art gallery! . . . and not only an art gallery but one which houses the world's largest collection of work by the celebrated Scottish artist, John Duncan Fergusson. This forms part of the entire collection of Perth and Kinross Council's Heritage Service which has been officially designated as a
Recognised Collection of National Significance to Scotland.
The splendid former Perth Waterworks was converted to an art gallery in 1992.
While the exterior pays homage to Perth's architectural heritage,
inside the visitor will find three modern, relaxing galleries displayed with fine examples of Fergusson's paintings, drawings and sculpture.
Exhibitions are regularly changed throughout the year so the visitor should find both old favourites and new displays to enjoy.

Every two years the gallery hosts an exhibition of contemporary work by the winner of the prestigious J D Fergusson Arts Award.
Visitors can also enjoy
free art activities, suitable for all ages.
