Community Crèches
Sure Start in Perth & Kinross recognises the health & development needs of children aged 0-3 years & families, liaising with health, social work and community professionals to meet these needs.
Crèches staffed by Playstart, the mobile creche service, provide two hours of quality childcare with no charge.
Each crèche has a varied selection of age appropriate toys that are changed regularly and provide the opportunity to access the toy library, book lending and home safety equipment. Individual needs and interests are incorporated.
Parents have the opportunity of time for themselves, or to stay and talk to fellow parents. Visitors attend e.g. health visitors, fire / road and personal safety officers, community learning, Careers Scotland in order to develop interests and skills.
