Community Campuses
Six brand new community campuses will open between Summer 2009 and Autumn 2011 as part of Perth & Kinross Council's ambitious Investment in Learning Programme.
The £136 million investment in the six new community campuses seeks to provide the most modern education and learning facilities and access to a range of council services for people living in the communities in which they are located.
The Community Campuses are:
Blairgowrie Community Campus Blairgowrie incorporates Newhill Primary School (formely Hill Primary) and St Stephen's Roman Catholic Primary. Blairgowrie Community Campus, Elm Drive, Blairgowrie PH10 6UZ opened in July 2009. |
Glenearn Community Campus Glenearn, Perth, incorporates Inch View Nursery and Primary (formerly Caledonian Road Primary and Friarton Nursery). Glenearn Community Campus, Glenearn Road, Perth PH2 0BE opened in October 2009. |
Loch Leven Community Campus Loch Leven, Kinross, will incorporate Kinross High School. Loch Leven Community Campus, Muirs, Kinross, KY13 8FQ opened in October 2009. |
Strathearn Community Campus Strathearn, Crieff, will incorporate Crieff High School. Strathearn Community Campus, Pittenzie Road, Crieff, PH7 3JN opened in November 2009. |
North Inch Community Campus North Inch, Perth, will incorporate nursery, primary and secondary education at St John's Academy (formerly St Columba's High and St John's Nursery and Primary). North Inch Community Campus, Gowans Terrace, Perth PH1 5BF will open in March 2010 for secondary and October 2011 for primary and nursery. |
Breadalbane Community Campus Breadalbane, Aberfeldy, will incorporate nursery, primary and secondary education at Breadalbane Academy. Breadalbane Community Campus, Crieff Road, Aberfeldy, PH15 2FJ will open in December 2010. |
