The Curriculum
The Scottish Government's lifelong learning strategy aims to ensure
that everyone develops the attributes, knowledge and skills they
will need for life, learning and work. The curriculum is all
the experiences that are planned for learners to support the
development of these skills.
The curriculum is structured around all the experiences that are
planned as part of learning and teaching. This includes the
curriculum areas and subjects, the school community and
inter-disciplinary projects. By recognising and planning
learning around different contexts and experiences, the curriculum
aims to make better connections across learning.
More information about the curriculum is available from
Learning and
Teaching Scotland's website.
