Glenearn Community Campus

 
Glenearn Community Campus will provide new purpose-built facilities for nursery and primary education at Craigiehaugh, Glenearn Road, Perth, to replace Caledonian Road Primary School and Friarton Nursery. The name for the new school will be Inch View Nursery and Primary School.

The modern, high-quality educational provision will be partnered with community facilities including multi-use games area, sports/assembly hall, family learning centre, ICT suite and meeting rooms. Areas for Wrap Around Care and Out of School Care will be provided in the same way as the other campuses that include primary education.

Nursery - 80 full time; 20 a.m./20 p.m.
Primary - 350

The anticipated date for the campus becoming operational is 05/10/2009.

A public meeting was held on Tuesday 11 December 2007 to update the local community about progress on the new campus. The minutes for the meeting are available in the Downloads section.

Landscaping and Outdoor Play Equipment
Joint consultations with the North Inch Campus took place on the landscaping and outdoor play equipment during June 2008.

Landscaping
The next step in the process is the final agreement for the landscape, which will commence in November 2008.  Dates are being agreed.  Comments can be found under 'Glenearn Consultation'.
