Landscapes, Outdoor Play Equipment and Furniture Layout

Consultations took place on the landscaping and outdoor play equipment for each campus, and on the layout of furniture for the community facilities at each location.
Public meetings to update local communities about the next stage of the Programme will be held during May and June 2008:

Naming the New Campuses

During September and October 2006, the Council invited suggestions and ideas for the names of the six new community campuses to be built through the Investment in Learning Programme.

All suggestions received then went through a short-listing process, led by school-based groups in the first instance. Where school communities had previously considered the topic, any prior suggestions were included as part of the overall process.

Following the short-listing, the Lifelong Learning Committee agreed the following name recommendations at its meeting on Wednesday 10 January 2007:

The Committee's decision was unanimously endorsed at the Council Meeting on Wednesday 21 February 2007. The campus pages have been updated accordingly.

Consultation on Campus Plans

Axiom Education's designs for the six new community campuses were on public display until 25 July 2006 at a range of public venues around Perth and Kinross including libraries and leisure centres.

Meetings for the school communities involved were also held between 21 and 28 June 2006, where Axiom presented their proposals and answered questions about the designs. The minutes for each meeting are available below:
