Curricular Information
Teachers within all Scottish schools follow the 5-14 curriculum.
The 5-14 curriculum is divided into five broad curricular areas:
- language
- mathematics
- environmental studies
- expressive arts
- religious and moral education
The aim of the 5-14 curriculum is to promote the teaching of a broad, coherent and balanced curriculum that offers pupils continuity and progression throughout their schooling.
