We have been working to strengthen the leadership, policy and direction of our integrated Services, and establish a clear rationale for our Service. As a result, a
Statement of Intent [pdf 352KB] and Policy Framework were developed.
The Statement of Intent also links directly to the revised Corporate Plan and the Council's commitment to:
- Improving services
- Enhancing the quality of life of our citizens
- Making best use of public resources
The policy framework is considered essential in order to allow the Service to communicate its overall purpose.
