Home From Home Scheme
The
'Home from Home' [pdf 1MB] Scheme aims to ensure a safe and
welcoming base is provided during the school week for young people,
who due to distance, cannot return home to their family on a daily
basis.
If you live within reasonable travelling distance of Breadalbane
Academy and have:
- experience of caring or working with young people
- an understanding of the needs of young people
- the ability to communicate effectively with young people and
their family
- the ability to work with Education & Children's Services in
supporting a young person ....
and feel you could offer a safe and caring environment to a
young person from Monday afternoon to Friday morning during term
time, we would like to hear from you.
Fees will be paid and support provided along with ongoing contact
with Education & Children's Services.
An assessment will be undertaken. Disclosure Scotland
and other relevant statutory checks will be taken up.
