Glasgow and Berlin are hosting the European Championships 2018.

The existing European Championships of athletics, aquatics, cycling, gymnastics, rowing and triathlon, and a new team golf competition will be combined into a single event for the first time.

Over 3,000 of the top European gymnasts, cyclists, swimmers, divers, rowers, golfers and triathletes will compete at venues in Glasgow and surrounding areas from 2 -12 August 2018. Berlin will host the athletics competitions.

The Festival 2018 programme will support a range of inspiring cultural events in parallel with the exciting sporting fixtures. Festival 2018 invites communities from across Perth and Kinross to create artistic and cultural projects which celebrate the people and talent of their area, and are motivated by the values of the championships. The championship celebrates activity which has longevity and is accessible, authentic, ambitious, inspiring, challenging, diverse, and uniting.
