Managing our council housing, providing services to our tenants and working to address homelessness and other housing issues are crucial parts of our work.

Homelessness

If you are homeless, or threatened with homelessness, Perth and Kinross Council can offer you advice, information and support to enable you to find a solution to your housing problem. Visit the Housing Advice Centre at 10-16 York Place, Perth or contact 01738 474500 to make an appointment. In an emergency, out of working hours, you can contact the duty homeless service on freephone telephone 0800 917 0708.

Housing Options

The Council will be offering a new housing options service to discuss individual housing needs. The new service is linked to the review of the allocations policy, and will start from 26 April 2010.

Rent Bond Guarantee Scheme

The Rent Bond Guarantee Scheme helps prospective tenants who have difficulty raising the cash deposit needed by a private landlord.
