Homelessness
Perth & Kinross Council, as a Local Authority in Scotland, has a legal duty to provide assistance to people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
Each year between 1,000 and 2,000 people contact our homelessness service for help so, if you are homeless or threatened with homelessness, you won't be alone, we may be able to help you.
If you are worried about losing your home, you should contact us at the Homelessness Advice Centre. We can arrange for you to discuss your situation with a trained Homeless Officer. The staff at your local area office can also give you some advice about your situation.
To contact us, phoning 01738 458800 or call at the Homelessness Advice Centre at 68-86 Scott Street, Perth, PH2 8JW.
If you urgently require assistance outwith office hours, please call 01738 623745.
You may also wish to contact the Shelter Dundee Housing Aid Centre which covers the Perth & Kinross area. The staff there can offer housing advice on a range of issues including homelessness.
