Temporary accommodation
At Perth & Kinross Council we know that everyone's
needs are different. We will do our best to offer you a
temporary place suitable for your and your
family. We mean suitable in terms of its size, type and
location. We have places in:
When you accept an offer of temporary accommodation we will ask
you to sign an occupancy agreement and the tenancy rules. The
occupancy agreement will explain your rights and
responsibilities.
If you are unhappy with the accommodation we have offered you, you
have a right to ask us to
review our decision.
Other providers
In addition to the Council's places
for homeless people there is a range of supported
hostel and individual and group living places managed by
external providers. They have around 90 placements and 16
satellite flats. We work closely with these external providers to
place homeless customers in the most appropriate
accommodation.
Temporary accommodation management and support
A team of Temporary Accommodation Officers manage the temporary
accommodation and can help customers with home
visits, tenancy support and practical advice about arrears issues,
neighbour disputes and repairs. The Homeless Services Resettlement
Team can help customers who need more focussed
tenancy and housing support and assistance.
