Council Tax Benefit

Council Tax Benefit helps people on low incomes pay their Council Tax bills.

No benefit can be awarded in respect of water and sewerage charges.

You can claim Council Tax Benefit at any time if you are the person named on the Council Tax bill.

How to Claim

To ask for a claim form or to submit an enquiry about an existing claim, email HousingBenefit@pkc.gov.uk.

You can also download a form from the Department of Work & Pensions' website which you can print out, complete and return to your local housing office.
