Improvements and Modernisation

Although we carry out various types of improvement and modernisation projects, we try to make sure that each our properties are improved to a similar standard.
Insulation, central heating, windows and doors, kitchen and electrical wiring are examples of what's covered by improvement projects.
As and when your home is included in planned improvement or modernisation work we will write to you with details, as far in advance as possible.
In most cases the work is carried out while you continue to live in your home, but we will do our best to ensure there is as little disturbance as possible and you may be entitled to a disturbance allowance.

All Councils in Scotland were required to submit a plan that highlights how they intend to ensure that their housing stock meets the Scottish Housing Quality Standard by 2015. Perth & Kinross Council's Standard Delivery Plan has been approved by Communities Scotland.
