New 'Tell us Once' service launched to help you.

The Registration Service is helping to deliver a new service that makes it easier for people to notify the authorities of a birth or death.

The Council is working with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to deliver Tell Us Once, a new service that automatically notifies relevant central and local government departments when someone registers a birth or death.

When making your appointment to register a birth or death the registrar will advise you about the service and let you know what information you should bring along. For further information please download the Birth leaflet (pdf 563kb) or the Death leaflet (pdf 563kb).
