Draft Gender Equality Scheme
Under the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and the Sex Discrimination (Public Authorities)(Statutory Duties)(Scotland) Order 2007, Perth and Kinross Licensing Board are required to prepare and publish a draft Gender Equality Scheme stating how it intends meeting its general duties under the legislation when exercising its functions. The Board is consulting on a draft Scheme until 1 February 2008 and would welcome comments from the public. The draft scheme will be considered by the Board at its next meeting on 5 February 2008.
Any comments after 1 February are also welcome and will be taken into account as part of the on going review of the scheme.
