Planning and the environment

Improving the quality of life for our residents, and securing the future are two key priorities for Perth & Kinross Council.

The quality of our every day lives is affected by the look and practicality of our buildings, roads and open spaces. The future of our environment is affected by the use we make today of our resources.

Our vision is to maintain and improve the identity and character of Perth and Kinross; to encourage innovation and sustainability in design and maintenance; to encourage well connected, welcoming places; and to encourage and enable everyone to use public spaces.

Here you can find information on Council services that are working to look after our living environment today and into the future.
