Can I obtain a copy of my building warrant and certificate of completion?
A public register is maintained by the Council which details the dates of issue of building warrants and certificates of completion. This register can be viewed free of charge by the public at any reasonable hour by an interested party. If however you have misplaced your original documentation then a copy can be purchased as detailed below. We can supply information back as far as 1975.
Can I obtain a copy of my plans?
In general it is feasible to purchase, as detailed below, copies of approved plans. There are however some conditions which have to be met. You should contact Cath Moyes on 01738 475335 for more details.
You should always make a prior appointment before calling at the office if you wish to take advantage of this service.
