Energy performance of buildings
As of the 4th January 2009 there is a requirement that an Energy Performance Certificate must be displayed in all public buildings over 1000 sqm. This will apply to Council buildings, Leisure buildings, Hospitals, Colleges, etc.
There is also a requirement for Energy Performance Certificates to be provided in any property that is for sale or rental from the 4th January 2009.
