Update on Building Standards Service provision

Building Standards Provision
The Service has now moved to a two team arrangement,
rather than the seven smaller teams operated previously. The north
team is under the control of Bill Black, with Martin McLelland
being in charge of the south team.
Our staff will however be prepared to meet with agents to
discuss particular applications at local offices, by prior
appointment.
Building Warrant Assessment
The assessment of building warrant applications is now
centralised in our Pullar House office in Perth where all
building Standards staff are based. When applications are
lodged they will be passed to the team leaders who will then
allocate them for assessment purposes therefore you will no longer
be informed at registration stage who the assessing officer will
be.
