The construction industry regrettably has an uneviable history of deaths and serious injuries arising from accidents on sites. Most large sites are now subject to better control however this is not necessarily the case for the smaller projects. The Health & Safety Executive are keen to promote site safety to smaller contractors and others as well as explaining responsibilities and the implications of non compliance.
