Exemption Orders
Under the
Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, people have a right to take
access responsibly to most areas of land and water in Scotland.
From time to time, it may be that certain areas of land or water
need to be exempted from this right of responsible access. This
might be due to an event where access may disturb the participants,
put access takers at risk, or where charges may apply.
The Perth and Kinross Council Access Officers advise and help to
arrange Exemption Orders.
Please see the
Access and Rights of Way page for further information on
applying for an Exemption Order.
