EcoSchools - Litter

The Eco Schools Programme is a European and International programme which encourages schools to act to support sustainable developments. There are eight topics that schools need to address over a period of time to gain their different levels of awards. One topic that is mandatory is the litter topic and schools are able to access support for this topic from the Environmental Initiatives Team. Activities provided for this topic give opportunities to develop teamwork and responsibilities, linking to the curriculum and citizenship.
