Welcome to Perth and Kinross Countryside


We have recently been updating some of the information on this part of the website. You will find details of lots of events and activities taking place in Perth and Kinross' Great Outdoors in our Guided Walks and Events pages, and in our Walks and Paths to Explore pages, you will now find lots more paths to explore as well as leaflets to download about many of these sites!



Core Path Planning. Read all the lastest information on Core Path Planning in Perth and Kinross. It is anticipated that the statutory 12 week consultation on the full draft Core Path Plan will start toward the middle of September 2008.


Perth and Kinross Countryside offers the visitor an enormous range of activities to participate in, places to visit and sights to see. From Munro bagging at its best, to quiet walks along riverside paths, horseriding to cycling we have it all.  

Looking after all these, is the Perth & Kinross Council Countryside Team. The Team, made up of Access Officers and the Ranger Service are responsible for;
