Comrie Path Network
There are 6 circular paths that form the Comrie Path Network. They range from 2 to 6 miles, and each path starts and finishes in Comrie. The paths explore some of the magnificent scenery of this part of Strathearn, from craggy cliffs offering stunning views, to woodland paths running next to rivers and burns.
Each of the paths is marked using way markers and are easily followed. Paths vary from quiet country roads and well surfaced paths to informal tracks. Routes such as the Earthquake Walk offer well surfaced and level paths, where as The Maam Road and Laggan Wood Walks, are steeper in places.
Parking, refreshments and other facilities are available in Comrie, close to all the paths.
A detailed leaflet is available is available from Perth and Kinross Council, Tourist Information and other local outlets at a cost of £2.00.
The Glen Lednock Circular Path
The Glen Lednock Circular Path is one of the paths forming part of the Comrie Paths Network. It is a circular path, 4 miles in length starting at the Laggan Car Park crossing the River Lednock at 'Shaky Bridge' before returning along the west side of the River.
The path, which is steep and uneven in places, visits the Deil's (Devils) Caldron, a feature of the river where over time, weaknesses in the rock have been exploited by the rushing waters to form deep potholes where water thunders and boils.
Parking is available at the Laggan Car Park. Additional facilities can be found in near-by Comrie
