Birks of Aberfeldy
This site comprises mixed valley woodland surrounding the gorge of the Moness Burn.
There are strong links with Robert Burns and the town of Aberfeldy with over 50,000 visitors a year enjoying the meandering woodland paths through the site.
Management aims to promote and balance the interests of recreation, landscape, nature conservation, interpretation, education and the community.
The current plan runs from 2005 to 2010 and major path upgrade works have already been completed on the East path. Further improvements to the interpretation are planned for this year.
