Community Council - Development Plan Introduction

Development Plan - Current
The current Development Plan consists of an approved Structure Plan and 6 adopted Local Plans.
The Development Plan is supported by a range of supplementary guidance and background information and studies.
Development Plan - New
Under the new system the plans will be replaced by
the Strategic
Development Plan (TAYplan), which is being prepared jointly by
4 local authorities (Angus, Dundee, Fife and Perth & Kinross)
and a Local Development Plan - prepared by the
Council.
We will be holding public consultations at various stages in the
preparation of the Local Development Plan, further details on this
process and progress of the Plan are available in the
latest issue of the Development Plan Scheme.
