Auchterarder Expansion - Development Framework
What are Development Frameworks?
A Development Framework is a document that explains how a group
of sites will be developed.
Why has a Development Framework been prepared for
Auchterarder?
The Strathearn Area Local Plan requires that detailed proposals
be prepared for the land identified in the Plan as Opportunity
3. This includes land at Kirkton, Castlemains and
Townhead. The Development Framework has been prepared by a
Consortium of Developers and a period of public consultation was
carried out before it was approved by the Council. You can
view the
Development Framework (PDF: 2.7MB) here.
However, you should be aware that this is a very
large document and may take some time to download.
Are there any junction improvements required?
The junctions at
Shinafoot [PDF: 1Mb] and
Loaninghead [PDF: 419Kb] will be upgraded as part of the
development.
Where can I get more information?
A
committee report was submitted to the Enterprise &
Infrastructure Committee of 26 March 2008.
Alternatively, you can get more information by contacting the
Planning and Sustainable Development team.
