Oudenarde Masterplan

What site does the master plan cover?

The proposed development site for Oudenarde is located 8 kilometres south of the centre of Perth, the site lies to the east of the M90 at Junction 9 (Bridge of Earn).

The site is bordered along its southern boundary by the A912, which links Bridge of Earn to Abernethy and Fife and the River Earn is situated along the site's northern edge. The site is predominantly flat, and the gross site area is 122 hectares.

The site is identified in the Perth Area Local Plan as ALT H5.

When will the master plan be used?

The purpose of this master plan is to identify the relevant issues applicable to the development of this site and to establish a framework within which detailed design options can be prepared and considered as required by the Local Plan.

What if the proposal does not accord with the master plan?

Developers whose proposals do not accord with the guidance set out in the brief must be prepared to demonstrate that they will achieve a better design solution more in keeping with the character of the area.
