Development plan - background information and studies
What are background studies used for?
We have undertaken a number of background studies which
provide information to support decision-making in the Local Development Plan process. We
also use information from a variety of sources to monitor,
review and formulate planning policies.
Where can I get a copy of the studies or
information?
These documents are available to download free of charge by
going to the page which is of interest to you by using the
links on the left of this page.
We also use the census and other population data and this is
available elsewhere on the website and from the General Register
Office for Scotland by using the links on the right hand
side of this page.
