Alteration - Forestry - scoping report
Have you submitted a scoping report to the SEA Gateway?
We sent our scoping report on the Indicative Forestry
Strategy to the SEA Gateway on 12 January 2007. We
received the responses from the Consultation Authorities on 16
February 2007 and these can be downloaded from this page.
What is 'scoping'?
It is the process of deciding the scope and level of detail to
be included in the environmental report. We send 'screening
reports' to the consultation authorities to determine whether
the plan, programme or strategy is likely to have significant
effects on the environment.
What happens next?
The next stage in the process is to prepare the
environmental report which will assess the environmental impacts
associated with the Forest and Woodland Strategy. It
is anticipated that this will be published for consultation in
the new year (2012).
