Development management contacts
The processing of planning applications and regulation of development is carried out by Development Management. These activities are carried out by Development Management Administration an Enforcement Team and Area Teams which deal with applications.
What does development management administration do?
This team deals with
- Processing planning applications
- Handling fees
- Decision notices
- Weekly list of applications received
What does the Enforcement team do?
Dealing with complaints if someone has breached planning regulations.
What do the area teams do?
They provide advice on
- Determining planning applications
- Advising on planning issues - for example, prior to submitting a formal application (see our leaflet on Pre-application Consultation)
- Carrying out planning consultation
- Dealing with planning appeals if planning permission has been refused
- Organising planning committee papers
