If you are experiencing problems logging comments online you can email your comments directly to DevelopmentManagement@pkc.gov.uk

Please note that some important changes to the planning application process were introduced in August 2009 by the Planning (Scotland) Act 2006. Please check our 'Modernising the planning system' page for more details.

If you are affected by a new development proposal you may learn about it first as a neighbour who is informally consulted by the developer. Developers of 'major' planning proposals formally require to consult the local community at least 12 weeks before submitting their application.

When a valid planning application has been made, adjacent 'neighbours' will be sent notifications by the Council. Applications will  appear in the weekly list published in the Perthshire Advertiser and may in certain instances also be included in a separate statutory notice. To be valid, any comments must be submitted by the date shown in the notification letter, or by the expiry of the advertised period, whichever is later.

The details of the proposals, including architects' drawings, are available to view at Pullar House. You can also view and track applications on  planning applications online.
