Skip Hire
Perth & Kinross Council offer a general waste skip hire service
to householders and businesses where recyclable and compostable
materials are separated from general waste. Before being
issued with a skip for general waste, both householders and
businesses should achieve a 70% recycling target .
We also offer flexibility on times of delivery and collection to
suit your needs. To order a skip please phone the Customer

Pricing
Prices are per week (7 days) based on zones indicating
distance from depot. Prices are exclusive of VAT, final disposal
and landfill tax.
Commercial Accounts are available.
Hire Duration
Hire can be up to four weeks, should you require the skip for a
longer duration you can arrange this when you make your initial
booking by contract.
How much notice is required?
Next day delivery - to be discussed when you make your initial
booking.
Street/Road Permit
Please note a permit is required to site a skip on a highway.
This is available on application to the Roads and Transport
Department on 01738 625411.
Notes of the use of Skips
- Skips must be level-loaded at all times
- Paint, asbestos and fluorescent light tubes are expressly
forbidden as these are hazardous wastes.
- Soil and earth disposal may limit the size of skip due to
weight restrictions.
