Contacts for Advice on Waste Minimisation

Perth & Kinross Council is encouraging local businesses to
implement Waste Minimisation Initiatives.
The Council's Commercial Waste Team are available to help
businesses to reduce, reuse and recycle a range of waste materials.
There are also other organisations that may be able to provide
further assistance on resource efficiency (waste, energy and
water).
What Support can Perth & Kinross Council Provide?
- Further advice and quotes on waste and recycling services that
the Council can provide.
- Offer a site visit to identify specific needs, looking at the
range of waste materials your business generates and advice on how
to deal with these materials.
- Staff training can be given by Waste Awareness Coordinators
through tailored waste awareness presentations.
Further Specialist Advice on Waste Minimisation
The folowing organisations can provide further advise and
support to businesses on how to develop, manage and monitor a waste
minimisation/resource efficiency initiatives:
Abertay Centre
for the Environment and Perth College also undertake specialist
projects for, or provide specialist support to, local
businesses.
