How the new service works

This information is only applicable to households in the areas of Perth and Kinross that are on the full kerbside recycling service, not for paper and garden waste only. The new recycling service is based on the existing 3 bin system that Perth & Kinross council already operates.

The types of materials that will be taken in the bins will be expanded to collect a greater number of recyclates and divert waste from going to landfill.

To help you collect food waste we will also be providing householders on the new system with a kitchen caddy and a small sample of liners when the new service comes to their area.

When areas are changed to the new service you will be sent details about the start date and materials accepted.
