Gas Canisters
Gas canisters are potentially dangerous, even if they appear empty,
therefore they should be disposed of responsibly.
The following options are available:
1. If the manufacturer's name is on the canister and you take
it to a stockist, they should accept it back. The manufacturer will
empty and possibly reuse the contents, then refurbish or recycle
the canister itself. For your nearest Calor or Flogas stockist,

2. If the canister does not have a manufacturer's name, Synergy
Asset Services can provide an uplift service (tel: 01304 827 277).
They are specialists in refurbishing and recycling gas canisters of
any model.
3. As a last resort, bring them to a Recycling Centre. Please
deposit at the correct location (site attendant on site can advise)
and do not place them into the general waste skip.
