Starter Packs Perth

Instead of throwing away re-usable household items you no longer need, you can donate the items to Starter Packs so that they can be passed on to a new owner.

What is accepted?

Anything that makes a house a home:

  • Un-chipped, clean crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, cooking utensils (un-matching items are also accepted)
  • Cleaning materials, toiletries, working light bulbs, basins, buckets, dust pans & brushes, baby goods
  • Clean bedding, towels, curtains and soft furnishings
  • Small numbers of clean containers/boxes would also be welcomed.  Containers/boxes that are approximately the size of supermarket banana boxes are needed in which to distribute the items.  (Lids aren’t essential).

What happens to donations?

Starter Packs Perth accepts re-useable items in good condition that can be passed on to people setting up a new home and have gone through the referral system.  Items are made up into Packs and distributed out across the Perth & Kinross area.

How do I donate goods?

  • Arrange a collection by phoning 01738 443562.
  • Small items can be collected from homes anywhere in Perth and Kinross by Starter Packs.
  • Drop-off items at Starter Packs on Fridays between 10am and noon - Unit 22, Riverview Business Park, Perth - just along the road from Friarton Recycling Centre.
