All types of telephone directories, including the Yellow Pages
can be recycled in your blue-lidded bin or at paper banks at your
nearest
Recycling Centre or
Recycling Point. Magazines, catalogues and books
(soft and hardbacked) are also accepted.
Why recycle?
Recycling paper saves on the volume of virgin trees cut down and
uses only 60-70% of the energy required for primary
production. Recycling also prevents these items from going to
landfill.
What's it made into?
The majority of the material will be recycled into items such as
paper bags and paper napkins.
