Cardboard
Cardboard, along with paper makes up a large percentage of waste found in the average family domestic bin. Cardboard recycling was introduced to the general public by Perth and Kinross Council in October 2004.
You can take cardboard to the following Recycling Centres:
- Auchterarder
- Blairgowrie
- Crieff
- Friarton, Perth
- Pitlochry
The cardboard is collected from the Recycling Centres by a local company, Wyllie Recycling Ltd where it is compacted and exported to China where it is pulped and made into new cardboard boxes.
