Telephone Directories
Last updated | 07/01/2008
What can be recycled All types of telephone directories, including the Yellow Pages can be recycled. Magazines and softback catalogues are also accepted. At your nearest
Recycling Centre you will find dedicated containers for these materials.
Why recycle?
Recycling paper saves on the volume of virgin trees cut down and uses only 60-70% of the energy required for primary production. Recycling also prevents these items from going to landfill.
Where does it go?
In Perth and Kinross the recycled directories, magazines and catalogues go to Stirling Fibre Ltd. Click
here to visit their website.
What's it made into?
The majority of the material will be recycled into items such as paper bags and paper napkins.
