The drivers from each organisation will use their discretion
when collecting items - if they don't believe that they can pass it
on, then they will not uplift the item and you would be advised to
arrange a Council Special Uplift instead.
Alternatively, consider passing on your item by advertising it
in a local shop or local paper or through an Online Exchange
Network such as Freecycle or Freegle. A householder responding to an
advert collects your unwanted item free of charge and reuses it -
any item can be posted, ranging from a piece of furniture to a bag
of building rubble!
