Community clean-up grants available to improve local environment
Last updated | 03/08/2011
Flytipping blights our landscape and can have a negative impact on wildlife, tourism and the local area. However, landowners, land managers and community groups in Perth and Kinross may be eligible to apply for up to £10,000 to clear up flytipping and/or install preventative measures at a flytipping hotspot on their land.
Keep Scotland Beautiful is administering a new Flytipping Small Grant Scheme on behalf of Zero Waste Scotland. The scheme is available for applications for a short period of time, until 26 August 2011.
For more information about whether you could be eligible, or to apply, please visit the
Dumb Dumpers website, or email Keep Scotland Beautiful on
flytipping@ksbscotland.org.uk In addition, Perth & Kinross Council's Flytipping Grant Scheme is still available to community groups who wish to apply for up to £3,000 of support to tackle littering problems in their local area.
