Temporary suspension of carpet recycling facilities
Last updated | 18/11/2011
Perth & Kinross Council has announced a temporary suspension of carpet recycling facilities at Friarton, Kinross and Crieff Recycling Centres. This is due to new equipment being installed at the reprocessing plant of the Council's contractor.
It is anticipated that the collections will begin again in early December. In the meantime, if you are unable to store unwanted carpets, they should be disposed of in the general waste skips at Recycling Centres.
The Council will provide an update on when carpet recycling will resume through the local media and on its website at www.pkc.gov.uk/recycle
