New Recycling Point provision in Crook of Devon

Last updated | 15/07/2008

Recycling for residents in Crook of Devon has become more convenient with the introduction of a new Recycling Point.

The new facility, located at the Institute, provides residents with recycling for glass, paper, steel & aluminium cans and textiles.

Environment Committee Convener, Councillor Alan Grant, said, “Most residents in Crook of Devon have access to garden waste and paper at the kerbside, and can also compost at home. The new recycling point provides an important additional service, offering yet more opportunities to recycle.”

A community information board will also be on site to provide information on quantities of each type of material collected as well as information on other Reduce, Reuse, Recycle initiatives in Perth and Kinross.
