Waste Awareness for Schools
Education and Awareness is a priority if young people are to
think about waste differently. By incorporating waste awareness
into lessons and by promoting Reduce, Re-use and Recycle within the
school grounds, the chance that the message will be taken home and
maintained throughout life is greater.
Perth and Kinross Council can offer a comprehensive programme of
waste awareness, which links well with the Curriculum for
Excellence through Sustainable Development Education and the Eco-schools
programme, supplement classroom work, or be a stand alone
project.
Please view our
Waste Education Resource Pack for Schools for further
information and ideas. The Resouce Pack can also be viewed as a PDF
