There are dedicated business development teams within Perth and Kinross Council and Scottish Enterprise, who fund the Business Gateway to act as a one stop contact point for business enquiries.
Perth and Kinross Council's Economic Development Strategy actively promotes business development opportunities. One of the key aims is to work closely with other agencies to deliver a service that meets the needs and aspirations of the business community.
Perth and Kinross Council offer support to existing businesses and work actively to attract new businesses to the area.
Through effective partnership working the aim is to ensure two things - firstly, that the necessary infrastructure is available through the supply of serviced land and buildings and , secondly, that Perthshire has a well trained and well equipped workforce ready to meet the demands of business.
Perthshire has a high level of business start-ups and its people have a strong entrepreneurial flair which Perth and Kinross Council and it's partners aim to nurture and build upon.
